Finding Your Born Wild Kitten

Our Bengal kittens are available at selected times throughout the year, with availability varying depending on the pairings we have planned and your preferences for sex, coat type, colour, and pattern.

We operate waiting lists for both pet homes and approved show/breeding homes. Waiting times will vary depending on exactly what you are looking for, so please get in touch to discuss current availability, upcoming litters or joining our waiting list.

Our priority will always be finding the right home for each individual kitten. We take their personality, temperament and the needs of their future family into consideration when helping you choose your new companion.

Reservations

Reservations usually open once kittens are approximately 4 weeks old. This gives us time to watch them develop, ensure they are thriving and begin getting to know their individual personalities before matching them with their prospective families.

Where possible, we welcome prospective families to meet their kitten in person. If distance makes this difficult, we are also happy to arrange a video call so you can meet and interact with your chosen kitten virtually.

There is never any pressure to make a decision. If you feel a particular kitten isn't the right match for you, that is absolutely fine. If you decide to proceed, we will complete our kitten contract and a £500 reservation deposit will be required to secure your kitten.

Once reserved, we'll keep you involved as your kitten grows, with regular photos and updates leading up to their homecoming. You can also follow their journey, along with everyday life at Born Wild, on our Instagram @bornwildcornwall.

The Born Wild Standard

Every Born Wild kitten is raised with an emphasis on health, temperament, socialisation and enrichment. Our kittens grow up in a loving home environment alongside other cats and dogs, where they are introduced to the sights, sounds and experiences of everyday family life, alongside supervised outdoor enrichment.

Before leaving us, pet kittens will be:

  • TICA registered as non-active / not for breeding

  • Accompanied by their parents’ 5-generation pedigree certificates & Wisdom Panel genetic health reports

  • Vet checked

  • Spayed or castrated

  • Fully vaccinated with an age-appropriate vaccination course, with their veterinary vaccination record provided

  • Microchipped and ready for transfer into their new owner’s details

  • Flea & worm treated in accordance with veterinary recommendations

  • Raised on a high-quality, complete diet

  • Sent home with their own Born Wild Kitten Pack, including: cat carrier, familiar food & litter, a blanket carrying the scent of mum & siblings, food bowl, harness & lead, toys

  • Provided with our comprehensive Bengal Kitten Information & Care Guide, covering their care and transition into their new home

  • Covered by 4 weeks’ Petplan insurance, where eligible in the UK

  • Supported by our ongoing aftercare

Going Home

Our kittens remain with us until they are developmentally ready to leave at 8-12 weeks old and have completed the veterinary care required before going to their new homes.

Collection takes place from Born Wild in Cornwall, UK. For families travelling from further afield, a pre-arranged part-way meeting point or personal delivery may also be available for an additional fee based on distance and travel requirements.

We want homecoming to be as easy as possible for both kitten and family, so you'll receive guidance on feeding, litter-training, settling in, introductions, enrichment and ongoing care before your kitten joins you.

Pet, Show & Breeding Homes

Pet kittens are currently priced from £1,500–£2,500, depending on factors including coat type, colour, pattern, and pedigree. We may offer a reduced combined price when two kittens are joining the same home.

The majority of our kittens leave as much-loved pets and are sold on a non-breeding contract.

Selected kittens may occasionally be considered for show and/or breeding homes. Breeding rights are available only by prior agreement to suitable, registered and health-tested breeding programmes, with prices starting from £2,300 for females & £2,500 for males. A separate breeding contract applies.

Kittens considered suitable for show or breeding may always be purchased as pets instead.

International Families

We are happy to consider enquiries from families outside the UK. International travel arrangements will depend upon the requirements of the destination country and the age at which the kitten is legally able to travel.

Additional costs associated with international travel — including any required rabies vaccination, Animal Health Certificate or other veterinary/travel documentation, extended boarding and transport — are the responsibility of the buyer and will be discussed individually.
